PRIVACY POLICY
Complying with the obligations deriving from national legislation (Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, n. 196 – Code regarding the protection of personal data and subsequent amendments) and community legislation (European Regulation for the protection of personal data n. 679/2016 – GDPR and subsequent amendments), the SMUU.it website undertakes to guarantee the confidentiality of visitors, taking every action to protect their rights.
This privacy policy applies exclusively to interaction with the SMUU.it site, with the aim of providing maximum transparency regarding the information that the site collects and its use.
Legal Basis of the Processing
The SMUU.it website processes data on the basis of consent. By using or consulting the site, visitors explicitly approve this privacy policy and consent to the processing of their personal data in relation to the methods and purposes described below, including any disclosure to third parties if necessary for the provision of a service.

In the case of specific services requested, the site automatically detects and records some identifying data of the user, including the e-mail address and the request made. Such data is intended to be voluntarily provided by the user at the time of provision of the service, and is processed on the basis of consent. The data received will be used exclusively for the provision of any service requested and only for the time necessary to provide the service itself.
The information that users of the site decide to provide is provided by the user knowingly and voluntarily, relieving this site from any liability regarding any violations of current laws. It is up to the user to verify that they have permission to enter personal or third party data or content protected by national and international regulations.
The data collected by the site during its operation will be used exclusively for the purposes indicated above and kept for the time strictly necessary to carry out the specified activities. In any case, the personal data collected by the site will never be provided to third parties, for any reason, unless it is a legitimate request by the judicial authority, only in the cases provided for by law. However, the data may be provided to third parties if this is necessary for the provision of a specific service requested by the user, or for carrying out security checks or optimizing the site.
The data used for site security purposes (blocking attempts to damage the site) will be kept for 2 years.

This site uses cookies, text files that allow us to store information on visitor preferences, to improve the functionality of the site and simplify navigation.

The SMUU.it site also acts as an intermediary for third-party cookies, used to provide additional services and features to visitors, and to improve the use of the site itself (social media buttons). The data transfer contract takes place directly between the user/visitor and third parties, while this site does not participate in any way in this transfer. As a consequence of this, information on the use of these cookies and their purposes, as well as on how to disable them, are provided directly by third parties.
Social Networks
On the SMUU.it website there are “buttons” for links to social networks. These “buttons”, in order to guarantee user privacy, are programmed not to set any cookies when accessing the page. Any cookies are set, if so provided by the social network being accessed, only when the user makes effective and voluntary use of them. Please note that if the user browses while logged into the social network then he has already consented to the use of cookies conveyed through this site when registering on the social network.

Transfer of Data to Non-EU Countries
This site may share some of the data collected with services located outside the European Union area. In particular, with Google and Instagram via social plugins and the Google Analytics service. The transfer is authorized on the basis of specific decisions of the European Union and of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, in particular decision 1250/2016 (Privacy Shield, for further information please refer to the information page on the website of the Italian Guarantor), so no further consent is required. The companies mentioned above guarantee their adherence to the Privacy Shield.
Security Measures
This site processes user data in a lawful and correct manner, adopting appropriate security measures aimed at preventing unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of data. The processing is carried out using IT and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated. In particular, the site management software is constantly updated and regularly scanned in order to check for the presence of viruses and dangerous codes. In addition to the owner, in some cases, categories of persons involved in the organization/management of the site (administrative staff, lawyers, system administrators) or external parties (such as suppliers of third-party technical services, hosting, providers, companies) may have access to the data. - the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Privacy Guarantor)
- more generally, exercise all the rights recognized by the current legal provisions
In the event that the data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests, the rights of those interested in the processing are guaranteed, in particular the right to object to the processing which can be exercised by sending a request to the data controller.
